Professional Learning Design

We design learning with you. You deliver.

At The Learning Shift, we partner with you to design customized professional learning that is aligned to your goals, responsive to your context, and meaningful for the people involved. Whether you are planning learning for a district, a leadership team, or an organization focused on continuous improvement, we work alongside you to design sessions that support growth and application.
Our work can include

a single learning session
a series of sessions across the year
a structured learning experience that supports long-term improvement.

Sessions can range from

one to three hours
whole day
developed as part of a multi-session series.

Each experience is customized and designed using principles of adult learning, instructional practices, and thoughtful facilitation moves that support engagement and reflection.
We provide materials, learning designs, and facilitation guidance so your team can confidently lead the learning. If you have a focus area or theme in mind, we can work with you to design learning that supports it.

Through Workshops and Trainings, The Learning Shift partners with organizations to plan and facilitate customized engaging learning experiences tailored to your needs and goals for leadership teams, administrators, coaches, and organizations.
These sessions combine your priorities with our experience, tools, and frameworks to create learning that is practical, interactive, and applicable.

Leadership Coaching and Mentoring

At The Learning Shift, we partner with leaders, staff, and administrators through one-on-one mentoring and coaching designed to support reflection, growth, and problem-solving. Coaching sessions focus on the real challenges leaders and teams are navigating and provide a structured space to think through decisions, explore new approaches, and strengthen leadership practice.
Coaching sessions are typically one hour and may take place in person, virtually, or through a combination of both depending on your needs.
Our approach centers on listening, thoughtful questioning, and helping individuals clarify their thinking so they can move forward with confidence and purpose. We believe in supporting self-directed learning and helping leaders grow in ways that strengthen their ability to support others.

Embedded Leadership Learning

We shape learning within your time. You build capacity and take action.

At The Learning Shift, we help organizations turn existing meeting time into focused, purposeful learning grounded in real needs and current challenges.
We partner with leaders to design and, when needed, facilitate sessions that move beyond updates and into reflection, skill-building, and problem-solving. Learning is shaped by real-time needs, coaching insights, and observations, allowing teams to focus on what matters most in the moment.
Whether you are looking to better utilize your current meeting structures or develop a more intentional approach to leadership learning, we help create space for participants to build knowledge, reflect on their practice, and apply new strategies. Sessions typically range from 45 minutes to two hours and can be adapted to fit your schedule and goals.
